Happy Birthday Sydney

Sydney turned 7 yesterday June 26th. She even looks older with her teeth finally starting to grow in.

Sydney Monkeys Around and Turns 7!!!

Meet Mikayla the Chimpanzee. Sydney wanted her birthday with the monkeys so Keith called around and actually found a place in Festus MO that had several chimpanzees and monkeys and you could come for a party and tour thier facilities. I was amazed and it had been there for 40 years. Monkeys in our own backyard, who ever knew. We took 10 giggling girls and they all had a blast. When the first chimpanzee "Eric" came slamming into the window to scare the girls they got so excited and were screaming so hard. The owner said that this only helps to get the chimps more excited and boy were they ever. They would get swinging on their ropes and then all of a sudden they would jump into the window to scare the girls and get a startle out of them. It was really funny to see. Then we got to go into the room to meet Mikayla. She is a 2 year old chimp and very cute. She walked around the room playing with her toys and playing with the girls. It was very cute. Gabby asked about a million times if we could get a chimp. I think I was that way at her age too. The girls kept telling Sydney "Thank you so much for inviting me to such a cool party." She was very proud.

Showing off his smile that he does for greeting cards. We found out that several of the chimps here have been in movies, on greeting cards, or in the circus. I guess they have to earn their living somehow.

More lake

Hot Rods on the tube!!!

Gavin loved jumping into the pool now we have to get him to jump in the lake.

Weekend at the Lake

Hey what do you think you are doing Gavin??? Sydney went swimming in the lake even though she was not suppose to because her cast was coming off on Monday. She was never so excited to have her dad pull her in the lake
Gavin was not so sure about the whole lake thing and swimming. Once he got started he had fun.

Even Charlie took a dip in the lake to cool off.

Of course Gabby had to show off on her wakeboard.

Gabby's Birthday at Six Flags

We went from 12:30 till 8PM hard at Six Flags. There was so much running from one ride to the next we could hardly keep up. I was never so glad to hear one of the workers say that it closed at 8 that night. The girls had a great time and really wore themselves out.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GABBY!!!

Gabby turns double digets today. She was very excited about her birthday and told me that she even felt older. She had a great day, we went and had her nails done, had her favorite bagel at the Bread Company, and went swimming at the pool. In the evening she had 5 of her friends over to celebrate with her favorite mint ice cream cake and then they spent the night. It was a little loud and lots of laughter, but they finally calmed down to a movie and I think fell asleep around 12:30am. Next it is off to Six Flags with all of them. I dont know who will have more fun, Keith or the girls.

10 Years Old

Tower of Power, BMX, Big Red, The Wall, and Lisi all celebrated Twister's 10th Birthday.

POOR CHARLIE!!!

Poor Charlie did not know what he was getting himself into when he joined our family. Sydney has so much fun with him. Today she decided he needed to go swinging. She said he is going to go down the slide next. Bath time for Charlie. The girls were so excited to try to give him a bath. He actually did really well and let them finish without jumping out of our little tub. Little did we know Charlie needs lots of baths because he is so close to the ground that everytime the ground is wet and muddy, so is Charlie. He is learning to wash is paws in the sink now when he comes in from being outside because he digs in the mud. Just what we needed huh?

1627 Prestonpark Lane has sold

1627 Prestonpark Lane has finally sold. We said our final goodbyes and took our final pictures. It was a super house with lots of great memories and the nice thing is, it is just around the corner if we are needing a little memory. As much as we are relieved to finally have it sold, it is a little sad. Good-Bye Prestonpark - Thanks for the memories.

Good-Bye Cindy

Today was the last day at Cindy's house. She has been a big part of our family since Gabby was 2 and now the last child is headed off to preschool. We will miss her and promise to stop in and say HI. The girls love to go back and visit with Cindy and Terri and Allison. They love to help Cindy babysit the little babies. Gavin does not understand or realize what is happening yet, but his little girlfriend Abby is going to miss him.

Meet Charlie

We have a new member in our family, Charlie. Keith and I finally were convinced that it was time for a puppy. He is very cute and fun. The girls are being very good about walking him and playing with him. When he is inside he is hardly put down. He likes to watch tv with the girls all snuggled up with them. We will see in a couple months how much they take care of him. He is the perfect size for them though. They love to hold him and he gives them kisses. Sydney said that she felt like she was in a dream the first night we had him. That was worth it all. He is a Cavachon, part Cavalier King Spaniel and part Bischon Friese. I must admits, he is actually fun to have around, except for the late night crying.
